To whom it may concern,
The bill which involves punishing those who negate the so called Armenian genocide is about to be voted now at the French Parliament.
Whenever the elections are near, the Armenian lobby plays the same game and tries to exchange its votes to punish Turkey through these baseless claims.
In fact, both the Turkish people and the rest of the world are now accustomed to these games. These kinds of bills have always been rejected at the parliaments of many nations.
We need to remind you that the same bill was presented in the United States; President Obama had urged the Congress not to pass the bill and the bill was rejected at the Congress!
Because history and the truth are one and the same…
Upon these claims, the Turkish government has repeatedly suggested that the archives be opened, the historians of both nations be summoned for research, all the documents to be reviewed, all the photographs to be closely examined and the truth of the matter be resolved via the arbitration of objective academics. But the Armenian government never agreed to this.
Now the Armenian Lobby has come up with the same tactic for France.
The truth of the matter is;
Armenian citizens living in Turkey are in fact the ones that are most saddened by the tactics of the Armenian Lobby.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has just sent a letter to President Sarkozy, warning him about the consequences and said “I sincerely hope that you will keep your promise in preventing this bill and that you will prevent events that could occur if the bill ever passes, urging him to own up to the report penned by the investigation committee at the French Parliament in 2008 that concluded that historical events “could not be written in parliaments.”
In the meantime,
French historians are not supporting this bill. Famous French historian Pierre Nora believes that, “history should be left to historians”
Even French companies are against the bill. Axa’s CEO Henri de Castries, has sent a message to Sarkozy through his advisers, saying, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing. France is cutting its own leg.’
Dear authority,
It should be remembered that,
This bill is against human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of thought.
This bill is not in compliance with the norms of the European Union, which France is a part of.
But most importantly, this bill is based on a lie even French historians don’t accept.
Because there are no genocides in the history of Turkey…
In Turkish history, there is no colonialization, unlike France.
There are no events such as the massacres in Rwanda and Algeria in Turkish history!
And there are no occupancies in the history of Turkey, unlike what France did to Antep and Maras!
With regards..
